A particularly intriquing anthology
Interfictions II:  The Second Anthology of Interstitial Writing.

Delia Sherman is one of the editors.  I love her short stories and can't wait to see what sort of tales catch her eye.  I plan to order the first Interfictions and may submit a story to the upcoming anthology.  (There's a cross-genre historical horror tale (Battle of Hastings) in my WIP file that might be in the ballbark.)  For those who are interested in submitting, the reading period is October 1 through December 1.

Hmmm. That's interesting.

I happen to be in the middle of enjoying Interfictions (the first one) right now.

Thanks for the link.

Elaine, any chance you might know of any anthologies with Sherman's short fiction in them, and feel willing to mention what they're called ;)? My only experience of her so far is the novel she wrote together with her partner (Ellen Kushner), which was good, if not as bloody brilliant as Kushner's solo-flights in the same setting.

Here's a link to her website, with a listing of her short stories. I was particularly fond of "Grand Central Park" in THE GREEN MAN. :)

(Yuck, "you" does not look good in the plural - then again, stricktly speaking it's always in the plural. Erm... I'm rambling...)
